Upcoming federal election: Meet the candidates

The Nova Scotia Central Branch is pleased to advise you that we will be hosting a series of federal riding candidate events in the coming weeks. As a result of the work that has been done on a nationwide basis, the National Association of Federal Retirees has identified four priorities for tihs election. They are: Making retirement income more secure, implementing a national seniors strategy, better well-being for veterans and their families and prioritizing pharmacare.

The event will provide each candidate with 5-7 minutes to address the identified priorities with a moderator asking clarifying questions. Light refreshments will follow along with an opportunity to mingle with the candidates in attendance. Come hear their views so that you can determine how their position might affect your vote.

In order for the event to start at 11 a.m. the doors will be open at 10:30 a.m. Parking is free at all of the above noted locations.
